Police Officer Ramon Suarez Memorial Foundation

My name is Carmen Suarez, widow of NYPD Police Officer Ramon Suarez, Transit District 4. On Tuesday September 11, 2001, my husband was stationed at the Delancey Street subway station when he heard over the radio that the Twin Towers were hit. He and his partners left their post, rushed to the streets, held a cab and went to help at what we now refer to as the blackest Tuesday in our Nation’s history.

Your generous, tax deductible donation to the Police Officer Ramon Suarez Memorial Foundation will change the lives of our children. You will help provide two scholarship awards each academic year to an individual boy and girl that attend the school in his name: P.S. 239, the Police Officer Ramon Suarez School, located in Ridgewood Queens.
